One of the most accomplished names in Turkish Sculpture, Seçkin Pirim is going to launch his exhibition titled “Glitch” which is mainly composed of wall sculptures at MERKUR on September 27, Saturday
between the hours 1 pm – 7 pm. The exhibition can be visited until October 18, 2014.

The artist concerning the works included in the exhibition; “Symmetry is an issue I am obsessed with. It is an obsessive yet pleasant situation which is also reflected in my sculptures as in my entire life. This point I transgressed in my life this year, if I could have succeeded in breaking from my routines and seeing the troubles as a color by putting the physical and emotional obsessions aside, the wall sculptures –created with the question whether I can apply the same thing to my works – proved that tiny problems/troubles provide the form with a fresh dynamism instead of ruining it. At first, I found it difficult to adjust, but now I experience the pleasure of seeing it as a part of the whole as I have started to like the mistakes and troubles when each work procreates a new one. Just like life itself…” Seçkin Pirim
